Assigning Notification Conditions

A notification establishes conditions and thresholds that allow the program to alert you when these conditions and thresholds are met.

Tip: You can use the same condition more than once with the option to set different details for the notification. For example, you can send a Percentage Complete notification to the manager when a project is 50% complete, and the same notification to the partner when a project is 90% complete.

To assign notifications, do the following:

1. Open the project to which notifications are to be added.
2. Click Notifications on the navigation panel.
3. Click Select Conditions on the button bar, or right-click the grid and select Select Conditions from the menu. The window that displays contains two grids:
   • The assigned grid contains notification conditions that can be assigned.
   • The selected grid lists the notification conditions that have already been selected.

Note: To preview any notification message, select a condition and click View Message.

4. Do any of the following, as necessary:

   Component	Description
   Assign	Adds the selected condition to the Selected list.
   Assign All	Adds all conditions to the Selected list.
   Unassign	Removes the selected conditions from the Selected list.
   Unassign All	Removes all conditions from the Selected list.

5. Click OK.
